Fagan Consulting is working with the Auburn University Stormwater Research Facility to develop a stormwater treatment device that uses electricity to remove pollutants without chemicals, pumps, or filters. Our ELECTRIC FLOC GENERATOR treats a range of pollutants from construction and post-construction activities and land uses. The latest cartridge-based configuration fits inside a 6" pvc pipe; operates with 12-volt DC or AC current; is less than 2 feet long; and weighs about 6.5 pounds. Varying flows and pollutant loads are addressed by adding more cartridges either in series or parallel. Several configurations addressing various stormwater treatment applications are in the works.
